[Renovation] Lucky Palace Apartment – District 6

This Lucky Palace apartment renovation has been handled by Truong Thang including bedroom expansion and natural veneer furniture.

When bought by Ms.Mai Huong, this apartment originally consisted of only two bedrooms and the interior was mostly degraded. Therefore, she wanted to renovate the whole things including the conversion from two bedrooms to three bedrooms and replacing new furniture.

The homeowner wanted to add one more bedroom for her father who is living abroad. So that when he comes back, she will be able to take care of him more carefully. This extended room can also be used as a guestroom.

“I want to make this house a gathering place for family members on holidays and a living space to connect intimately,” – Ms. Huong shared.

The redistribution of the house was also a challenge because of the limited space. One of the solutions we offered to our customer was to use another variation of our Urban bed with drawers integrate.

Next to the bed is a Swel sliding wardrobe system to solve the problem of space limitation. Opposite the master bedroom is a desk system with a TV cabinet function that combines a desk that, when opened, opens a dressing table with a mirror and a cosmetic drawer.

For the L-shaped narrow children bedroom, a system of bookcases and desk was cleverly installed opposite the door with a combination of natural oak tone and white. Two desk lamps were also neatly integrated into the bottom of the bookshelves, ensuring sufficient light for children to do their homework. Because the desk occupies a large part of the aisle, we designed the sliding wooden door solution to better fit this space.

Inside the children bedroom, there is a two-sliding-door built-in wardrobe in natural oak veneer that fit neatly is opposite the bunk bed and Karina mirror also developed by us.

The bedroom, living room and kitchen areas are all lined with high-grade engineered wooden floors, which have natural, good waterproof and scratch-resistant surfaces. The natural color of oak and white are the two mainstreams of the apartment, creating an open space and spreading natural inspiration, intimacy and coherence in accordance with the design that the owner wished.

“What impresses me is that the surface of the natural veneer is finely processed. The combination of oak and white tones makes me feel light and intimate.”

In addition to the bedroom wooden doors, the toilet is also fitted with our Trendy V veneer doors with water-proof plywood aggregate, creating a consistent and harmonious overall. The front area of the house is the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. A grooved wooden partition wall serves as a TV hanging supporter, as well as a decorative element that brings depth to the space. Right below the television is a Mela wall unit covered with veneer and combined glass wings, showing the entire collection of feng shui items and souvenirs of the owner. Combined with the dining table are monolithic Cos wooden benches, which are customized to fit the dining area space while providing enough seats for family members.

Next to the dining area is the kitchen with a fengshui oblique 45 degree L-shaped layout. So we created a little bit of customization based on our Floating collection, making sure the bottom kitchen cabinets embrace the actual wall array. The undermount sink ensuring aesthetics and hygiene while large drawers with small drawers inside for cooking utensils storage are also installed under the hob and next to it is a narrow drawer with a spices tray.

Next to the sink is a built-in dishwasher which has the surface covered with delicate veneer layer was neatly placed into a functional module. Directly above the sink is a system of dish racks with bi-fold wings integrated with variable stop stay lifts, allowing soft opening and closing. A refrigerator module is also fitted properly, ensuring heat loss to the appliance and providing additional storage space above the refrigerator.

Next to the door, there is a dominant white shoe cabinet system with an elegant shelf of oak veneer in the middle of the lower cabinets for storing shoes and the upper one for helmets, umbrellas … The 90° of the shoe cabinet is a hanging mirror with an extended wooden frame providing space for coat hangers.
